Job description

The Children’s Air Ambulance took to the skies in 2012. Since then we have completed over 300 transfers of critically ill children between hospitals meaning they can reach lifesaving treatment quicker than they would by road. We need your help to raise awareness and spread the word about our work in your local area as a speaker volunteer!

As a Speaker Volunteer you could be involved in:

  • Promoting the work of The Children’s Air Ambulance by giving talks and presentations to a range of audiences including community groups and schools in the local area

  • Approaching companies, groups and supporters in your local area to make connections and set up speaking engagements

  • Attending local events and cheque presentations on behalf of the charity to officially thank our supporters

This role is completely flexible but we are ideally looking for volunteers who are able to commit to regular engagement with us.

Previous experience of presenting would be great but as long as you are confident speaking in front of a group then don’t worry, you’ll be provided with all the training and tools you need.

We will give you a full induction to all aspects of the role and you will have ongoing support from a local community fundraiser in your area. You will also have the opportunity to develop new skills to build your CV and gain invaluable experience working for a leading charity.
