Our Trustees, all of whom are volunteers, bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to our organisation. We are currently looking for people committed to making a difference to the local community to join our Boards and committees. We would particularly like to hear from those who have experience at a senior level in:
- Property Management
- Legal work – particularly Wills, Trusts or Charity Law
- HR/Employment Law
- Nursing and Care
- Medical Consultancy
Trustees are expected to attend six Board meetings per year plus two strategy day events as well as serving on a committee relevant to their experience. They also act as Ambassadors for the charity and support our promotional events. We provide full induction training and support.
This a voluntary post and no remuneration will be paid.
This is a unique opportunity to influence the growth and development of a unique and well respected organisation and to experience the challenges of working in the voluntary sector.
