Nottingham, Nottinghamshire
Voluntary
Job description

This role offers an exciting opportunity to come alongside survivors of modern slavery as a mentor in the community as they establish life in Nottingham. Mentors will help to model healthy community within a structured relationship alongside modelling how to establish goals, giving practical advice (attending appointments, navigating transport etc) and helping celebrate successes.

This mentor relationship will be established within a group of three (a ‘trio’) with 2 mentors assigned to every individual survivor. Within the ‘trio’ (2:1) a community integration goal is set. The 2 mentors come alongside an individual to help them achieve their goal over a period of a year. The role will include bi-weekly meet-ups and working with clients to give them tools to navigate a pathway to their goal.

As one of our volunteers, you will receive specialised training and regular support from our Community Hub team.

Please apply via our website. You will find the role under 'Anti-Human Trafficking and Modern Slavery'.
