We are a new and ambitious charity, determined to transform perceptions of autism, and to make it possible for those with the condition to live to their true and impressive potential. Our initial focus is on early intervention, and part of our work will be to open a specialised early intervention clinic in 2019 or 2020. For more about us - including a TED talk on our approach given by our CEO a few months ago - please visit our profile by clicking on our name in the title section of this ad, or by going to our website.
As our team expands to be able to deliver our objectives (we are currently around 15 active volunteers and growing, working remotely, but we have just started holding team meeting and are aiming to do so at least every couple of months), we are seeking someone to keep a keen eye on the wellbeing of our volunteers, monitoring their morale and pro-actively seeking ways and strategies to maintain and improve it.
This will involve slowly (due to the numbers) building relationships with the team (the team days are great to begin this) and assessing their current needs to propose and/or implement ways of meeting them, arranging regular video-conference meetings for the team, producing a regular newsletter and keeping active our internal volunteers' Facebook group.
We are also particularly interested in ensuring that our values (see attachment below) permeate our team's culture.
We look forward to hearing from you if you resonate with our goals and our values, and you feel this role is for you.
