Job description

We are having an exhibition on board of the ship, HQS Wellington, which focuses on the life of the South Asian Seafarers from the Seventeenth Hundred onwards. This year, in addition to the artefacts and models, and seeing life on a real warship and we have Augmented Reality attractions to entertain and educate.

We are looking for volunteers to cover these duties:

  • Greeting visitors outside the Ship

  • Guiding visitors through their visit onboard experience

  • Ticketing

  • Merchandise Sales

  • Quarterdeck Café

  • Helping through family days, working with vulnerable and/or children

We are aiming to open on the 25th of July, Covid-19 permitting, on Sundays and Mondays. Training will be given prior to the opening day. Travel expenses will be paid and volunteers will get free lunch and refreshment on board, too.
