Job Title: PA/Operations Assistant (Part time)
Their Future Today is a fast developing and well-respected charity working with National Childcare Services in Sri Lanka to improve the lives of institutionalised and disadvantaged children, through education, vocational skills training, income generating projects and family strengthening.
We are seeking an excellent and highly organised administrator who will become committed to TFT’s mission, provide effective support, maintain high standards of communication within the TFT International organisation, and be comfortable working internationally with people from very diverse backgrounds.
This exciting pivotal and developing role role requires confidence, initiative, flexibility, dedication, conscientiousness, reliability and honesty to help TFT achieve their goals.
The PA/Operations Assistant plays a vital part in the administration and smooth-running of TFT. The nature of the support required will vary from day-to-day, and also across different stages of the project/operations cycle. However, key responsibilities will typically include general administrative support to CEO, event planning, fundraising activities, designing & preparing posters for fundraising events and social media, ensuring regularly updated website including social media and preparing excel spreadsheet reports as well as word documents and power-point presentations.
The role will also assist the CEO with administration duties including Diary management, travel arrangement, visas, expenses management, banking, arranging meetings, managing agendas and all things related to maintaining a well- run organisation.
Ongoing training will be provided in relevant areas of the charity sector.
Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Office
Experience and understanding in administration
Ability to work well in a small team and manage a busy workload efficiently
Good attention to detail
Excellent communication skills
Strong computer skills including Word, Excel, and Powerpoint, Sage and Salesforce
Previous experience preferred but not essential
Salary negotiable depending on experience Initially 3 days per week 24 hours 4 weeks annual leave
