Want to gain a qualification and volunteer together? All you need to bring is your hands, heart and commitment!
ellenor provides the best care and support for families facing terminal illness in Kent and Bexley.
Our mission is to lead and coordinate the best personalised care for all ages, sharing our expertise to ensure that all families facing terminal illness get the right support in the best place possible, enabling them to make the most of the time they have.
Our volunteers carry out a vital role in our organisation, helping staff in every area of our work. Their contribution is important and valued, and we would not be able to offer the services and care to families facing terminal illness without their help and commitment.
Anyone who has some time to share and who wants to volunteer to support patient care in a practical way. No previous care experience necessary, just a caring compassionate approach and willingness to learn.
- This will include:
- To build a confident, competent and caring team of Care Volunteers
- Ensure understanding of the roles and responsibilities to work as a care volunteer
- Provide valuable knowledge, insight and support in caring for someone at the end of life

The course is expected to run for approximately 8 weeks. To become a care volunteer requires no experience nor qualifications, all you need to bring is your hands, heart and commitment.
