Treasurer - Blue Ventures

Who we are

Blue Ventures is a marine conservation organisation that puts people first. We support coastal fishers in remote and rural communities to rebuild fisheries, restore ocean life and build lasting pathways to prosperity. Our work began two decades ago in Madagascar’s remote coastal communities and is growing globally.

The role

We are recruiting a Treasurer to lead our board’s oversight of Blue Ventures’ finances. This trustee position will chair our board’s finance subcommittee and provide high-level support to our finance team. Blue Ventures’ Treasurer will monitor our financial performance and position through a review of management accounts, cash flow, income streams, outgoing costs, and the overarching strategic management of the organisation’s financial resources.

The successful candidate will be a motivated, proactive, and highly organised individual who will demonstrate a proven track record of leadership in finance and leadership in governance, as well as exceptional written communications.

We are looking for an individual open to new ideas and embraces innovation. You will thrive in collegiate and inspiring environments and be able to demonstrate experience of working independently and solving complex problems in challenging situations.
