About you
You'll have the energy, integrity, passion, and skills to work with the Board of Trustees, our CEO and staff team, and our community, to drive forward a successful and dynamic future for our charity and the families we support.
We’re particularly looking to add the following professional skills and experiences to our team.
- Developing digital products, tools and/or services.
- Directly supporting children and/or families on an ongoing professional basis.
- Fundraising in a charity through voluntary donations or commercial income.
You don’t need to have been a Trustee before, but you do need to be willing to do some training to help you understand the role and the responsibilities that come with it.

Expenses
You won’t get paid for your time, but we’ll make sure you aren’t out of pocket by covering the cost of your travel to meetings, childcare or other care if you need it, and a range of other expenses you might have while doing the role. We’ll book and/or pay for these in advance if you prefer.

We are looking for dedicated Outreach Volunteers in the London Boroughs of Kingston, Richmond and Wandsworth. We would particularly like to hear from you if you live in or near the above boroughs.
The Outreach teams encounter people on their first steps from homelessness to independence – providing pathways and support to assist people off the streets.
We work with people who are rough sleeping and we do shifts late at night, and early in the morning, to find these individuals. SPEAR then works with people on a housing pathway and assists them to link into various support services, tailored to the challenges an individual might face.
SPEAR is looking for self-motivated, outgoing, and empathic people who could volunteer to provide support to vulnerably housed, rough sleepers, or anyone using homelessness services in the London boroughs of Richmond, Wandsworth and Kingston.
The volunteer will enjoy developing positive relationships with new people and will be willing to work outside of their own comfort zone providing support and assistance to the Outreach Teams clients. Key Responsibilities:
1. Plan and execute the Education & Skill Development strategy and service line:
• Workshop Coordination: Organize quarterly workshops on key topics such as financial literacy, entrepreneurship, and job skills, ensuring these sessions are informative and engaging for the community.
• Mentoring and Work Experience: Facilitate biannual mentoring events, pairing community members with experienced mentors. Arrange work experience opportunities to enhance vocational skills and job readiness.
• Resource Distribution: Oversee the annual sponsorship of educational resources, such as school supplies and private tuition, to support the educational development of community members.
2. Measure performance: Keep accurate count of the number of workshops held; the participant satisfaction rates; and the number of educational resources sponsored. Provide this data to the Governance Team and Trustees on request.
3. Collaboration with Verticals Teams:
• Partnership Development & Collaboration Team: Coordinate with this team to identify and establish alliances and partnerships with local, regional and global organisations, businesses, councils, and thegovernment to acquire education and skill development resources, speakers or information.
• Fundraising & Financial Management Team: Collaborate with this team to conduct fundraising activities and financial planning for the Education and Skill Development service line. Identify diverse revenue streams, such as grants, donations, corporate sponsorships, fundraising events for the Education and Skill Development service.

We are looking for individuals who are warm and energetic to support our young carer youth club sessions. Carers Trust Hillingdon supports young people aged 5 – 25 who have a caring responsibility. As part of our service we provide weekly youth clubs to enable our young carers to have a break from their often stressful home situations, meet other young people in similar circumstances and to have fun!
Main purpose of role
To encourage young carers to have fun and relax in a safe and welcoming environment.
Availability
The commitment is a minimum of two sessions per month (6 hours in total) for a minimum period of six months to ensure consistency for young carers.

- To initiate discussion, games or activities and encourage members to take part.
- To help floor staff around dinner time (food preps. setting up tables, dishing out and serving food).
- To assist with keeping the Headway centre safe, clean, and tidy all times by taking on tasks such as collecting and washing cups, tidying up resources' shelves, wiping tables before lunch etc…
- To inform floor staff about activities undertaken with members and any significant changes in mood or behaviour. To take members to social events and outings and being able to assist individuals needing to use a wheelchair.
- To undergo training as required and attend volunteer debriefs and supervision. To undertake any other duties that may reasonably be required.

Homeline is a befriending project for older people based in Hammersmith and Fulham.
If you have an hour or two to spare each week and befriend an isolated person in their own home we would love to hear from you.

Across the UK, more than 3 million older people are living with limited financial means and experiencing inequalities. At Independent Age, we believe that no older person should face financial hardship. That’s why, by 2027, the charity’s goal is to have improved the lives of one million older people. Through our policy, campaigning, information and advice and grant-making we improve lives by increasing the financial well-being of older people in financial hardship, enabling greater choice and independence.
We are seeking to appoint new Trustees to our Board. Board members serve on at least one of our Committees, which oversee our finance, risk, governance, services, and policy work. We estimate the time commitment for trustees to be around one day per month on average.
We are particularly looking for skills and experience in one or more of the following:
- Fundraising strategy and performance
- Service delivery and performance
- Grant-making strategy and evaluation
- Impact measurement
- Investments (experience of social/impact investing would be a bonus)

About Zetetick Housing Charity
We provide quality supported living homes to adults with disabilities, autism, learning disabilities and/or mental health problems. We are passionate about our cause to help those marginalised by society. Many of our homes have gardens which are sanctuaries for those we support.
Your help as a gardening volunteer will assist us greatly in supporting our tenants to make the most of their garden space over the upcoming Spring and Summer months.
Job Description
We are looking for people who resonate with our Bedrock values and share our passion for helping others.
As a gardening volunteer, you will help our Maintenance and Support team either in Sussex or Croydon with tidying up and clearing gardens to benefit our tenants.
No experience is needed but you should bring with you a passion and willingness to help.

References will be required and DBS checks will be undertaken.
