We are looking for volunteers across Warwickshire, Coventry and Solihull to place and monitor our collection tins and pin badge boxes, which include a range of different British animals and the Help for Hedgehogs campaign. By placing a couple of collection tins or pin badge boxes within your local area, you will be helping to support the vital work of Warwickshire Wildlife Trust, protecting wildlife and wild places across the country.
Tasks you will be involved with
. Identifying venues or sites such as garden centres, coffee shops, cafes, pubs and local shops to place collection tins or boxes.
. Talking to and requesting permission to place collection tins or boxes within your local area.
. Monitoring the collection tins and/or boxes every 4-6 weeks by visiting the venues or sites, with the aim of collecting money, issuing a thank you receipt and replacing collection tin and/or replenishing badges.
. Banking the collected money and making either an electronic transfer, writing a cheque to Warwickshire Wildlife Trust or dropping the money back to us here at Brandon Marsh Nature Centre.
. Keeping written records of the location of collection tins/boxes, the dates they were emptied and the amounts banked, sending written records to the Trust.
Skills and abilities required
. Knowledge of your local area.

. Friendly with good interpersonal skills.
. An interest in wildlife and the work of the Trust.
