YMCA Brighton have been preventing homelessness in Brighton and Hove for over 150 years: we are a registered charity supporting the local people to belong, contribute and thrive, in a consistent effort to reduce homelessness and increase wellbeing. We support our clients on a pathway towards fulfilled and empowered living, across housing and support services.

Are you passionate about using your skills and experience to combat homelessness in Brighton and Hove?
We are currently seeking volunteer trustees to join our experienced Board to oversee the organisation’s governance, compliance and strategic development, to help us to extend our reach and impact.
Our trustees play a vital role in making sure that YMCA Brighton achieves its core purpose. They oversee the overall management and administration of the charity. They also ensure that YMCA Brighton has a clear strategy and that our work and goals are in line with our vision. Just as importantly, they support and challenge the leadership team to enable YMCA Brighton to grow and thrive, and through this achieve our mission to support homeless people of all ages to discover their potential and feel inspired to achieve aspirations and live life to its fullest.
