We are "Youth Mix" a new start-up young people’s charity that aims to become award winning by “Inspiring A Generation” and empowering young people through informal learning to be changemakers in their communities, and to deliver highly effective engaging, fun and impactful programmes that UNITE communities, EDUCATE on social issues and build skills, and INSPIRE a generation of leaders and active citizens.
We are looking for an inspirational leader with bags of energy, enthusiasm and drive to help put us on the map by being our first ever Assistant HR Manager, where you will be creating an amazing volunteering programme that keeps people motivated and provides Youth Mix with a pool of talented and skilled volunteers, as well as preparing Youth Mix for employing our first staff members..
As well as creating a volunteering programme, you will also recruit, select and induct volunteers into the charity, facilitate volunteer meetings and arrange regular social based activities and manage the day to day HR issues that arise within Youth Mix.
As this role is voluntary, the role offers great flexibility to fit around your time (including daytimes, evenings and/or weekends), where you will mostly manage your own workload, including mostly home based working until we are able to seek funding for an office base to host our charity. However we require approx 6-8 hours per week committment to help us set up and develop HR within Youth Mix.
