About us 

We are "Youth Mix" a new start-up young people’s education and training charity that aims to become award winning by “Inspiring A Generation” and empowering young people through informal learning to be change makers in their communities, and to deliver highly effective engaging, fun and impactful programmes that UNITE communities, EDUCATE on social issues and build skills, and INSPIRE a generation of young leaders and active citizens.

About this project 
This project is aimed to help young people (aged 16 to 26 years old), write/improve their CV, write a targeted CV to match to the industry they want to enter into, as well as supporting them with writing their Personal Statements to apply for University.

About the role

We are looking for volunteers from a wide range of backgrounds and industries for our first pilot project and looking for volunteers with experience of writing/reviewing CV's, Careers/Employment, Recruitment, HR or experience involved with employability skills to join our Team. We are also looking for Volunteers from a wide range of sectors so that we can match young people to the sector they are aiming to enter into.

About you 
You don’t have to volunteer in person for this project, and your role will be to review around 2-3 CV's or Personal Statements in your own time, (as and when we receive them). As this role is voluntary, the role offers great flexibility to fit around your time (including daytimes, evenings and/or weekends. 

If you would like to volunteer in person, we will also be running a mentoring programme in the coming months and you can join both projects to help us support young people with their CV and Employability Skills. 

We are looking for candidates who shares in our values and vision for Youth Mix and who has the skills, qualities and expertise to help us with this project, helping us make a success of our first pilot project.
