Job description


Post: CRRC Trustee

Salary: This is an unpaid position

Term: tba

Hours: Minimum of four hours per week (some could be from home) plus attendance at Trustee meetings and prior, during and after fund raising events

Experience: Applicants must have current working experience in at least one of the required areas:

HR/ Marketing (including web site updates) / large scale fundraising / accountancy / publicity/ working within a charity setting / forward planning

General: The Cat and Rabbit Rescue Centre is an independent charity based in Sidlesham, who are dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitation and rehoming cats, kittens, rabbits and guinea pigs. Our ethos is never to put a healthy animal to sleep and to continue to search for a suitable, loving forever home. Animals that are not adopted stay with us for the rest of their lives. We never put a healthy animal to sleep. We also have an active fostering scheme, help with neutering costs, deal with feral colonies and work to educate the public to be good, sensible and loving pet owners.

Trustee Duties: The responsibilities of all Trustees include:

Compliance with legislation, leadership, integrity, effectiveness, diversity, openness, accountability, legislation updates and implementation and good financial control.
