Every month, the YoungMinds website provides thousands of young people with vital support and advice for their mental health. We’re looking for a Senior Digital Content Designer to play a key role in leading the design and delivery of the content on our website.

You will lead in delivering content for the Never Alone programme, which seeks to provide support for young people on a range of feelings, life experiences, conditions and mental health medications. Along with the digital communications team and the Digital Content Officers you line manage, you will design or commission content in various mediums such as written content, illustrations, graphics, video and audio.

You will conduct user research and insight sessions with young people to design the website content strategy, ensuring the content on our website meets young people’s needs and covers relevant topics and experiences.

You will also be responsible for the YoungMinds blog, ensuring the blog continues to be a valuable space of real stories and support with content that showcases a variety of experiences and backgrounds. As part of this, you will lead on our Writers Programme, where you will recruit young people from minoritised groups and run a year-long programme of workshops to help develop them as writers and editors.

Using your digital expertise and strategic thinking, you will work with colleagues across YoungMinds to create content for the website that helps support their team’s aims and objectives. This will include our content for young people and professionals as part of our Someone To Turn To programme, as well as content for our Powerful Young Voices programme. You will also work closely with the Product Manager for the website to deliver the website roadmap and strategy, and ensure the website is meeting it’s aims and goals as a digital product.

The successful candidate will:

• have experience of designing, developing and building website content that meets user needs and is in line with our brand’s tone of voice
• have experience of using user insight to inform and develop digital content
• be able to upload content to a CMS (content management system) and create engaging webpages with good user experience that are search engine optimised
• be able to create digital content for minoritised and racialised groups of young people and practise cultural humility
• be able to conduct user insight sessions with key stakeholders and users, to listen to their experiences and identify their needs
• be able to line manage members of staff to support their wellbeing and development

About the role

As Senior Digital Content Designer you’ll play a key role in ensuring the British Heart Foundation (BHF) puts users at the heart of everything we do; researching, commissioning, writing, editing, and publishing effective content that helps grow and deepen engagement for our diverse audiences.

You will build great relationships with colleagues across the BHF, supporting them to take a user-centric and evidence-based approach in their work across a variety of high-profile services to improve the overall user experience of our site.

Managing a small team of content designers, you will help set the standards for content quality, advocating best practices in areas such as SEO, accessibility, analytics, and qualitative and quantitative research. As a brand and user champion this role will embed and uphold our content guidelines, tone of voice and visual flair, to ensure BHF content is always accessible and consistent.

As we instil content design principles into our content production processes, you'll help us to drive a dynamic overhaul of our BHF website as we look to upgrade and migrate our effective website content into new page templates and embrace emerging opportunities such as personalisation.

Working arrangements
 
This is a 12-month fixed term contract.

This is a blended role, where your work will be dual located between your home and our London Office.

About the role 

As our ideal candidate you’ll be an outstanding and experienced Content Designer who has previously led a team in driving business outcomes (conversion, engagement, sales/income). You’ll be used to working in a fast-paced environment and have a good awareness of inclusive and accessible content.

We’re looking for a creative and confident Content & Communications Coordinator to join our busy Marketing & Communications Team at Imperial College Union. This new role will be key in strengthening our online presence and improving student engagement with the Union. Duties and responsibilities

Content Planning

• To assist in the creation of communications and content plans to support the Marketing & Engagement Manager in the delivery of key Union marketing activity, such as Welcome Week and election.
• In partnership with the Marketing & Engagement Manager devise a social schedule to ensure regular, timely and impactful content across these channels
• Build networks with student groups, the Union’s newspaper (Felix) and external partners to develop opportunities for content collaboration
• Utilise student feedback and engagement with Union content to continue to improve and develop our output and channels
• Work with the Student Officer team to promote their public profiles and provide support on their campaigns.
• Stay up to date with what’s happening across the Union, College, the city and wider student movement to stay current and spot positive PR opportunities and content.

Content Creation & Curation

• Ensure timely, relevant and engaging content for Union channels & platforms, including blogs, website, social media and news
• Write, proof and edit a variety of digital communications across the organisation, such as blogs and web content to ensure brand and tone of voice is consistent and correct
• Attend student events to capture photos and videos content to use for marketing purposes and provide live social media coverage to a high standard
• Work with Designer to turn copy into engaging, high quality assets
• Have your finger on the pulse for all latest trends for the student audience and evaluate their feasibility without audiences and available resources

Cardiomyopathy UK is a specialist national charity for people affected by cardiomyopathy, a condition that affects the heart muscle.

This is an exciting time to join us as we embark on our new 5-year strategy. We have set ambitious goals to reach more people affected by cardiomyopathy, and this role will play a key part in helping us to achieve them.

We are looking for an experienced and inspiring marketing and communications person to join our Fundraising and Marketing team. You will be working alongside our existing Marketing and Communications Officer, where you will both be responsible for raising the profile of the charity across multiple channels so that more people can access our services and support our work, ensuring that key messages, tone of voice and brand guidelines are implemented effectively and consistently across the charity.

You will have a proven track record of working in marketing and communications, copy writing with excellent attention to detail. This role includes writing news articles and case studies, managing social media and website updates. Working collaboratively across the team, you will work alongside the marketing team to help develop, deliver and co-ordinate an integrated and effective marketing and communications plan.

As a small charity, this post is very much “hands-on” and requires an ability to manage multiple projects and tasks at a time.

The Actors’ Benevolent Fund supports professional actors and stage managers in times of need, and in 2022 we spent over £1.6M on charitable support. The organisation has a bold new ambition to increase its reach and impact within the performing arts community, helping many more people and expanding the range of support to result in meaningful and sustainable change. It is an exciting time to be joining the charity, with a new Board of Trustees and the opportunity to make a real difference to a community dedicated to bringing so much meaning and inspiration to others.

We have created a Marketing & Engagement Coordinator post to help us achieve this ambition, through managing and increasing engagement with the charity’s members and other stakeholders.  This includes assisting the Marketing and Engagement Manager with the planning and execution of marketing, branding and advertising strategies to better promote the ABF to all our stakeholders across all communications channels. This role also involves administering the ABF membership, including responding to enquiries and providing a positive and responsive experience of the charity.  Activities include creating and monitoring engaging content for social media platforms, as well as developing the ABF’s membership processes to increase impact. There will be the opportunity to develop and implement activities to increase the ABF’s membership.

We are looking for someone with experience of digital and traditional marketing as well as customer relationship management (CRM) tools, data analysis software, HTML and graphic design applications. Job Description

Job Title: Head of School Programmes

Reports to: Director of Programmes

Location: Quantum House, 22 – 24 Red Lion Court, Fleet Street, London, EC4A 3AB The role is open to hybrid working but the candidate would be expected to be in the office one day per week

Purpose: This is a fantastic opportunity to lead a team supporting and engaging thousands of state schools nationally to effectively use the Inspiring the Future and Primary Futures programmes to improve outcomes for children and young people. These programmes leverage technology to raise the aspirations and broaden the horizons of children and young people by connecting them to a huge range of volunteers from the world of work via career related learning activities. Alongside staff management and delivering a strategy for general programme engagement, the role manages the delivery of several funded projects.

Remuneration: £36 - £40k per annum FTE depending on experience

Additional Terms: 30 days paid holiday, exclusive of Statutory Holiday plus competitive pension scheme and a volunteering allowance of up to 5 days – pro rata in accordance with the length of contract. Additional family friendly benefits including enhancements to Statutory Payments.

Appointment Terms: Permanent and full time. We are open to part time working of a minimum of 4 days per week (0.8 FTE).

Job purpose

Working closely with the senior management team and deputising for the Director of Programmes where necessary, the successful candidate will have responsibility for developing and delivering a strategy to support the increase in successful school engagement with the charity’s main programmes Inspiring the Future and Primary Futures. This will include managing and leading a team to deliver effective school support, building strong relationships with key stakeholders including local authorities, unions and school networks and ensuring appropriate marketing, resources and guidance to support effective school usage. The role will be responsible for managing several key funded projects and contracts for the charity.

The schools team are responsible for both delivery of key funded projects and contracts as well as driving up awareness and effective engagement with Inspiring the Future and Primary Futures from schools. We now have over 11,000 teachers from state schools and colleges registered on Inspiring the Future and want to see a significant increase in those successfully using the platform and its related services over the next five years. In particular, we are looking to engage significantly more primary schools as well as continue our strong links with secondary and college staff.

The successful applicant will be expected to quickly pick up delivery of key projects and review, and where appropriate improve, existing strategic plans to engage and support state schools through our programmes and therefore a good understand of career related learning activities is essential. They will be supported by the Director of Programmes and senior management team and an excellent schools team of passionate staff.

The ideal candidate will be able to lead and manage a small and dynamic team and will be able to absorb key information quickly, working across a number of varied projects and programmes.

Schools Engagement

• Working with the Director of Programmes to review, improve and implement strategic plans to increase the charity’s engagement with primary schools and secondary/colleges for Inspiring the Future and Primary Futures programmes
• Reviewing and updating KPIs around the number of schools registered, engaged and school satisfaction levels and monitoring these, adapting approaches as appropriate and utilising our salesforce CRM as a basis for reporting

• Developing and maintaining key relationships with careers providers, the Careers and Enterprise Company, local partners, teaching networks and unions and across various types of schools

• Leading the review and enhancement of resources and marketing materials for school engagement and ensuring these (including on our websites) are up to date

In partnership with the National Association of Head Teachers the charity has developed a version for primary schools called Primary Futures and over 6,500 primaries have already signed up. Te.  All campaigns run through Inspiring the Future share a common objective: to broaden young people’s horizons, raise their aspirations and show them the range of opportunities and careers routes e.g. apprenticeships and university open to them. ABOUT THE ROLE

• Scope out, survey and review delivery and quality control during and after installation for our Urban Forest and Schools projects.
• Produce engaging, accurate and innovative plans, details and specifications for hard and soft landscape works and tree planting, using our in house style supporting and steering other designers in the team.
• Specify and design schemes for tree and woodland planting projects in estates, public parks & open spaces, and school playground spaces for food growing, education, green infrastructure and SuDS / raingardens.
• Work closely with both our in house Build Team and as a contract administrator to ensure high quality project delivery, to specification and standards required, clear handover of design materials, specifications, tender documentation, sign offs and recorded meetings.

Conservation Collective (CC) funds solutions to protect the environment, restore nature, and safeguard against climate change. The CC UK charity incubates, launches, and supports locally focused foundations, which open new funding channels to support the most impactful environmental grassroots projects. Our network comprises 20 members based all over the world and is growing.

We manage and monitor our donor relations, grant giving governance, contacts, and event activities, via a bespoke and customised salesforce system. This was launched in September 2021, and has been developed and configured to meet our growing needs since then. As the demand for our model increases around the world, we need a highly capable systems specialist to support us to ensure our data systems are well managed, users are trained, and we can create accurate reports for our donors and other audiences. The role will report to the Finance Director and will work closely with the rest of the team. This is a critical role that is central to the success of building a robust organisation, and there is opportunity for an ambitious candidate to grow in responsibility with it.

Key Responsibilities:

 Oversee Salesforce System: maintenance, training, development, and reporting

 Maintenance

· Ensure key objects on Salesforce such as accounts, contacts, campaigns and grants are working effectively (ensure process flows work well).

· Maintain reliable records in all objects on Salesforce by eliminating duplicates monthly, processing user deletion requests and updating records for lists with up-to-date information on key stakeholders (e.g. trustees, contractors etc).

· Weekly data back-ups.

· Uploading ad-hoc batch data from Campaigns e.g. Just Giving or historical data into Opportunities.

· Ensure regular data cleaning to enhance the credibility and adoption of the system. Spot trends with issues and feedback into system development or training.

· Oversee data governance log: maintaining log of changes to review with the team, discussing effect on budget and system usage to inform decision making.

 Training and support

· Oversee user set ups, create new user profiles, and share best practices according to GDPR practices.

· Oversee smooth onboarding and training process for new members to ensure effective adoption.

· Keep training materials related to key objects updated, host internal webinars to address new feature introductions or common issues to troubleshoot.

· Promptly troubleshoot any user issues and feeding these into training to prevent it happening again.

· Respond to individual questions from users on Slack and share tips and tricks.

 Automations and Development

· Manage the integration of Form Assembly, ensuring all connectors work well and troubleshoot and update individual forms when needed.

· Support users with the building of individual Form Assembly forms, updating when needed (ad hoc) and embedding them in their websites.

· Perform developments such as creating new fields, updating picklist values, page layouts, forms, automation configuration, formula fields, and other content. Work with core team to assess where a development is foundation specific, and where it should be applied across all users.

· Act as key point of contact with our external Salesforce consultants on any requests of flow maintenance or improvements and monitoring effective use of credits and budgets.

 Reporting

· Build reports and dashboards for each key Object – spot trends and suggest improvements.

o Opportunities - pipeline and income reports for board meetings

o Grants - tracker and applications analysis, extraction of impact data for evaluation purposes

· Provide quarterly diagnoses of user adoption levels across the network.

· Work with exec director to prepare quarterly data for trustee meeting and annual reports.

Manage IT systems with the support of an outsourced consultant

 · Act as a key point of contact with our outsourced IT company, overseeing the creation of new users and managing the leavers’ processes.

• Ensure MS365 systems are working effectively for current users, and troubleshoot issues as a first point of contact before liaising with outsourced providers.

· Maintain an up to date ‘how to guide’ for our intranet, ensuring all users know how to use it and find what they need.

· Recommend Cyber Security improvements.

· Procure IT equipment for team with support of external consultant.

· Maintain an up-to-date list of active users, MS 365 licenses and Antivirus license protection.

· Oversee the IT budget by approving expenses on a regular basis.

· To manage website domains – purchasing new ones on request, performing updates or providing access to web designers.

Essential criteria:

· Passionate about nature and the environment

· Understanding of and experience in Salesforce User Management

· Knowledge/skills in improving business processes, overseeing testing; identifying and implementing systems enhancements.

· Experience of being able to communicate well with and support non-technical colleagues.

· Strong communication skills, verbal and written.

· Ability to work methodically.

· Ability to work quickly and accurately.

· A keen eye for detail.

· Demonstrable ability to work independently.

· Energetic approach to work and a desire to learn.

· Experience in not-for-profit sector

Strongly desirable criteria:

· Salesforce Administration Certificate.

· Salesforce Trailhead badges.

· Awareness of GDPR regulations.

· Comfortable with using MS Office suite, Slack and Canva environments.

· Familiarity with complex accounting models (affiliates, branches, restricted and unrestricted funding).

· Experience of working in a fast-paced environment that is constantly growing and adapting. 

· Being able to speak Spanish, Greek or Italian would be a bonus.

We are looking to recruit an Individual Giving and Gifts in Wills Manager to manage and deliver the Individual Giving and Gifts in Wills (Legacy and In Memoriam) income streams for the Centre.  This is an exciting role in our Fundraising team that will manage income pipelines and associated expenditure required to raise income, provide monthly monitoring and use data to analyse fundraising results. This role will also develop and implement strategies to retain, recruit and acquire new supporters.

In addition, you will also provide excellent stewardship to an aging supporter base and ensure the people who donate to the Centre receive a wonderfully warm and personal donor experience, engaging and inspiring donors with stories and updates about the work.

About The Role 

The Development Manager works closely with the Director of Development & Enterprise and the Development team to develop, implement, monitor and evaluate the SLG’s fundraising strategy. The role will work across all aspects of fundraising with particular focus and responsibility for trusts, foundations, embassies and institutional supporters, as well as public funding from Arts Council England and Southwark Council.

About you

Main duties of the job

• Provide support to the department on a range of administrative tasks including, dealing with enquiries (postal, telephone, email, face to face), opening and sorting post.
• Work to build excellent relationships with donors to provide a high standard of customer care.
• Process one-off and regular donations ensuring procedures are followed and information is recorded correctly onto the database and thank you letters are sent.
• Work with cancer centre volunteers to support the team with administration tasks.
• To undertake specific fundraising projects and attend events as necessary or as required to support the department’s fundraising.
• To assist the fundraisers with administration of staff lottery, raffles and prize led promotion and fundraising as required.
• Support all fundraising activity and represent the charity at internal and external events.
• Manage ‘Gift in Kind’ donations and our ‘Gift in Kind’ Campaigns.
