We are looking for a part-time Wellbeing and Organisational Change Advisor to assist the Wellbeing Manager in providing timely and appropriate support around workplace wellbeing over a period of organisational change.

Key responsibilities will include:
- To track the reach of sessions to support departments around wellbeing and organisational change.
- Aid the production of resources to be used in support sessions, including PowerPoint slides and Microsoft Forms.
- Produce resources to show stats and evaluation evidence about the reach and value of support sessions, tailored to various internal audiences.
- Create SharePoint pages of resources to complement support sessions.
- Support processes around collecting feedback from leavers.
- Work collaboratively with the rest of the Wellbeing Team and HR colleagues to ensure fit with other Wellbeing and HR work.
Essential skills, knowledge and experience:
- Experience of working in an administrative role within a supportive function.
- Experience of working with limited supervision and resolving unforeseen issues and challenges
- Ability to undertake assigned tasks in timely manner to an acceptable standard.
- Experience of working with Microsoft 365 suite including Word, Excel and Teams
Desirable skills, knowledge and experience:
- Experience of SharePoint management and creating Canva documents.
- Experience of working within an HR, HSE or Workplace Wellbeing team
Additional Information:
- This is a fixed-term role for 15 months, part-time for 22.5 hours per week.
- The RSPB reserves the right to extend or make this role permanent without further advertising dependent on business needs at the end of the contract term.
- You will be home based but may be dual located if you live near one of our offices.

One in 20 adults in the UK has never learnt to read at all, but it is never too late to learn. Read Easy UK is a volunteer organisation that delivers one-to-one reading coaching to adults aged from 18-88 through a network of affiliated, locally run volunteer groups.
With its free, flexible, confidential approach, Read Easy encourages many people who are too embarrassed to join a class to come forward for one-to-one support. Each new reader is provided with their own personal Reading Coach, so that they can learn in private and at their own pace. Learning to read transforms their lives in many other ways as well, including enabling them to support their children’s and grandchildren’s reading, and so transfers the benefits to the next generation.
There are currently 76 affiliated Read Easy groups across England, together involving more than a thousand volunteers. Read Easy UK is the registered charity and umbrella organisation, based in north Gloucestershire, which supports this network of volunteer groups.
As our South West Regional Adviser, you would be providing high quality support to our 14 volunteer groups across Gloucestershire, Wiltshire, Avon, Somerset, Dorset, Devon and Cornwall. Your support will ensure that they provide the same for their volunteers and Readers. From meeting with Team Leaders to provide one to one support to delivering refresher training for small groups of volunteers this is a dynamic and rewarding role.
You will need to have experience of working with volunteers; strong people management and interpersonal skills; excellent communication skills; and the confidence to run meetings and deliver presentations.
This is a part-time role for 15 hours per week. Please note that this role is home-based, requires flexibility and involves regular travel within the region and occasional evening and weekend working. The successful candidate will have been employed to work with volunteers for at least two years.

About the role
We have an amazing and rewarding opportunity to join us at the Alzheimer’s Society as a Dementia Adviser. This integral role is to join us in a Dementia Support pilot project, in collaboration with Barnsley Third Sector Dementia Alliance – organisations in Barnsley who are supporting people affected by dementia to live well in their local community. (Alzheimer’s Society, BIADS, Age UK Barnsley, Crossroads Care, Barnsley Carers Service, Butterflies). The pilot project started in October 2023 and will run until end March 2025.
This is a new and exciting role in supporting the development of a community-based information, advice and guidance service which will work alongside colleagues in Health and Social Care, including Barnsley Memory Assessment and Support Service, and be supported by members of the Third Sector Dementia Alliance, through the provision of wraparound care and support. This is a hugely important role in mapping out the future of services in Barnsley for people living with dementia.
The focus of this role is to identify and respond to the real time gaps in support for people with dementia and/or their families, carers and friends, at points of both pre and post diagnosis. This will involve the provision of practical and emotional support for individuals who would benefit from additional support, information and guidance at each stage of the diagnostic pathway.
The service manages a variety of support needs with referrals for people with differing dementia related needs. This service is open for referrals for younger people being diagnosed with dementia in addition to those people over 65 years of age.
Referrals may be to connect people into their local community for a range of access to support them – e.g. activities, information, day care. We will be providing prompt and effective person-centred solutions, working closely with Barnsley Third Sector Dementia Alliance Members.
You will be working alongside Dementia Adviser colleagues and the Service Manager, and involved in setting the parameters for the service, as we seek to identify needs of those being referred into the service and consider future needs of people affected by dementia in Barnsley.
You will:
- Manage referrals coming into the service via email and or telephone, following internal referral processes
- Work to tight deadlines for initial response and completion of support outcomes with our small but passionate team.
- Provide support on the telephone, online and face-to-face - in the persons home or out in the community across the Barnsley area.
- Support people to maintain their independence, improving their sense of well-being, and help them feel in more control of their lives.
- Build relationships with a range of local contacts and network with health and care professionals
- You will be delivering a Dementia Support one to one service, out in the community and working from home.
About you
We are looking for an individual with great time management and interpersonal skills, with an understanding of dementia and the needs of those living with dementia and their carers. An ability to assess client needs along with the understanding of the need for client confidentially is essential to providing a valuable and worthwhile service. Due to the nature of the service, experience of safeguarding would be beneficial.
You will;
- Have excellent communication skills as well as strong organisational skills in order to manage your caseload of clients effectively within tight deadlines.

About the Role:
The main responsibilities of the role are outlined below:
- To act as organisational lead for CYP, ensuring effective development and delivery of operational and strategic policy.
- To represent VS externally to influence policy, and work collaboratively with business development and external partners to grow services.

To be successful you will have
- A qualification in accountancy (CIMA, ACCA, ACA, CIPFA) and an active member of a professional body/network.
