Experienced in successfully managing service transformation and development, including in a contact centre environment, you will also have an understanding of grants programmes, and of building strategic partnerships and national networks. With an understanding of demonstrating and reporting on impact, experience of supporting fundraising for services and bidding for contracts, you will ideally also have knowledge of developing an external training offer.

Purpose of the Job
To strategically lead and manage our existing CYP services that range from being both clinical and non clinical (Mental Health Support Teams in Schools, Circle crisis prevention café for children and young people, Whole School Approach, Be Kind to Your Mind). To develop and grow a portfolio of children and young people’s mental health services.
The role will lead, manage and oversee the Youth Services team and a range of projects that support the mental health and wellbeing of children and young people.

Growth and Development
- To lead, develop and maintain the strategy, business plan and budget for Youth Services.
- To lead on service development through the identification of unmet needs, local priorities and project opportunities and the development of proposals and bids.
- To work closely with the CEO and Head of Business Development on potential new funded projects, writing or inputting into proposal/bids.
- To support the development of outreach and communications materials about services and impact.
Lead on Projects
- To provide overall leadership and oversight for project contracts.
- To oversee the implementation of needs assessments and data analysis to ensure that services are relevant to the needs of stakeholders and meet identified service gaps.
- To ensure that KPIs for all projects are met and have continuous oversight of this and any improvement actions that need to be taken.
- To lead and oversee effective monitoring, evaluation, accountability and learning (MEAL) systems (both qualitative and quantitative) evidence base are in place, monitoring key outcomes of the service and produce quality reports.
- To oversee and ensure evidence of key outcomes are in place and inform improving quality programme delivery and service development.
- To lead and oversee reporting to funders (and other stakeholders where required) in a timely manner.
- Provide guidance and expertise to staff.

Partnership Working
- To develop excellent working relationships with commissioners, potential commissioners, partners across North-West London.

- To ensure in contracts where HFEH Mind is the project lead that partners are supported to achieve project deliverables and targets and provide timely M&E to be included in reports to funders.

- To identify suitable partners and funders for new projects.

Management

Job Description
Lead on service delivery, management and governance
– To provide strong leadership for the service based on a clear vision for the service, clarity of standards and outcomes to be achieved.
– With the Head of CYP support the strategic development, planning and delivery of specialist EWMH services for children and young people ensuring an effective co-ordinated offer for these families is in place.
– To have the primary responsibility for establishing, maintaining and developing consistent and high standards of professional and managerial competence amongst all staff involved in the delivery of EWMH services.
– To provide line management to the Service Managers and named roles above and work with them to ensure they provide an effective service to children, young people and families in Surrey.
– Maintain up to date detailed knowledge of legislation and national policy and to ensure SLT, CYP management team and the service are briefed on changes.
– To have lead responsibility for ensuring EWMH services operates in a way which safeguards children and adults and is fully compliant with safeguarding policy and procedure
– Understand and manage risk and safeguarding issues across the team, being the named lead and providing advice on guidance on all risk and safeguarding issues and escalating cases to DSLs as appropriate.

Manage stakeholder engagement and financial integrity

– Ensure accurate monitoring and reporting of EWMH service delivery output, outcomes and targets.

Training and Development

Buildings and Infrastructure
– Ensure buildings and facilities for the delivery of EWMH services are fit for purpose including the Phoenix Youth Centre reporting to SCC and effective working with statutory and voluntary sector partners with the support of the YMCAES Central Services Facilities team. About the role:
As the Director of Services, you will provide senior strategic leadership for all Advance services across London, East and South England, including our Domestic abuse services, Criminal Justice services and Women’s Centres, Diversion services, Young Women’s services and other work which compliments the mission and values of Advance.
The Director of Services will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships and engagement with voluntary and statutory partners, funders and commissioners. To be successful as the Director of Services you’ll need the below experience and skills:
· A proven track record of senior leadership in providing services to women experiencing violence and abuse, women in contact with the criminal justice system or similar social care or social justice services
· Exemplary relationship and networking skills, experience of developing and maintaining strong partnerships and stakeholder relationships.
· Thorough knowledge of safeguarding adults and child protection issues
· An excellent understanding of management and quality assurance processes and systems such as Women’s Aid accreditation framework.
· Experience of managing and working within budgets and of tendering/fundraising processes.
· Ability to lead by example, inspire and motivate teams and manage a complex workload.

The Director of Operations will be a key member of our leadership team, enabling our growth through strategic and structural operational planning, implementation and delivery, ensuring that we realise our vision across our Resourcing Church network.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Vicar of St John the Divine to ensure the strategic priorities of the St John the Divine Resourcing Church network – currently St John the Divine Kennington, St Faith’s North Dulwich, and the Korean congregation at St James’ Malden – are delivered. They will also support our wider leadership team, including clergy, and lay leaders.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Specialist Teaching Assistant to join our Education Team. This role will require the successful candidate to support an integrated and holistic approach to education, health and care, work under the direct supervision of an allocated teacher / senior specialist teaching assistant, support access to learning and provide general support to the teacher in the management of pupils in learning opportunities and to assist the teacher in providing relevant support for pupils with severe learning difficulties (SLD), profound and multiple learning difficulties (PMLD) and complex therapeutic, medical and health needs.

Role Requirements
STL1 – Provide support for Learning Activities set by Classteacher & Senior Specialist Teaching Assistant
- To support learning activities for individual, groups or whole classes of pupils, leading activities under the direction of the teacher or Senior Teaching Assistant supporting the teacher in their delivery of lessons.
- To demonstrate our School Ethos and Pupil Charter throughout the School day.
- Holistically integrate education, health and care needs.
- Evaluate and record procedures for learning activities.
- To know individual learning targets for each pupil in the group(s) and take specific action to enable individual pupil goals be achieved.
- To attend to the general care, maintenance and storage of classroom equipment.
STL 2 – Support Children’s Development
- Observe pupils, sharing observational findings, contribute to the implementation of activities to support development.
- Actively contribute towards record-keeping particularly in respect of pupil learning, therapeutic interventions, behaviour management, child protection and any other specific programme set up for individual pupils by the teacher / Senior Specialist Teaching Assistant / Therapist.
STL 3 – Help to keep Children Safe
- Undertake annual safeguarding training.
- Adhere to the school’s Safeguarding and Child Protection procedures and policies. Recording incidents pertaining to pupil safety, including for illness, accidents and incidents, accepting that Safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility and that ‘it could happen here’.
- Read relevant documentation / mandatory reads in relation to Keeping Children Safe In Education.
- Report any signs and indicators of possible abuse, being sensitive to the child/young person and circumstances, Identifying, report and record changes in behaviour and physical signs.
- Be aware of and follow plans, risk assessments and record keeping pertaining to individual pupils, including care plans, health care plans, feeding plans, moving and handling and behaviour management plans, actively engaging in relevant training and competencies offered to ensure that you are able to support in keeping all pupils in the class safe.
- Ensure safe transport for all pupils in the class for off site visits.
STL 4 – Contribute to Positive Relationships
- Interact with and respond positively and professionally, to pupils and adults, including colleagues, other professionals and parents/ carers at all times.

- Support the delivery of appropriate communication, language and literacy as well as the learning targets related to cognition to individuals, small groups and whole classes of pupils, providing accurate support and feedback to the teacher and pupils.

- Prepare commonly used ICT for use in lessons and be aware of and be able to use hardware and software commonly used in the school.

STL 9 – Observe and Report of Pupil Performance
- Against intended learning targets be able to observe and complete assessments with teaching support.
- Support the classteacher in providing evidence (observational notes, photographs, videos) presenting in the appropriate format to assist the evaluation of evidence relating to the pupils’ stage of development.
- Be able to clearly explain and answer questions / justify your evidence of pupil performance to the teacher.

STL 10 – Support Children’s Play and Learning
- To promote and support age-appropriate play for pupils.
- To supervise and actively encourage play and leisure activities during playtimes taking an active role in the organisation of play, leisure and recreational activities.

- When applicable be aware of the first language of pupils and their parents.

STL 13 – Contribute to Moving and Handling Individuals
- Follow agreed Moving and Handling plans as prescribed by therapists undertaking relevant training and competencies prior to do any of the below:
- Carry out moves and changes of position taking account of the individual’s needs, preferences and their advice on the most appropriate methods and equipment.
- Use moving and handling methods appropriate to the individual’s condition, your personal handling limits and the equipment available.
- Move and change individual’s positions in ways which minimise pain, discomfort and friction and maximise the individual’s independence, self-respect and dignity.
- Observe, record and immediately report any significant changes in the individual’s condition when you are moving them.
- Record details of methods of moving and handling which the individual finds acceptable according to legal and organisational requirements.

The Module sits within the Master of Research (MRes) in Developmental Neuroscience and Psychopathology (DNP), a two-year Masters programme, which is a collaboration between Anna Freud, University College London and The Child Study Centre at Yale University in the USA. In2scienceUK’s aim is to promote social mobility and diversity in science, technology, engineering and maths. We do this by leveraging the skills and passion of researchers and STEM professionals to support young people from low socio-economic backgrounds to achieve their potential and progress to degrees and careers in STEM.
What we are looking for:
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual who has excellent written and verbal communication skills to be part of our ambitious fundraising team. You’ll have some experience in forming partnerships and or generating leads through targeted content.
Background to the project:
The Development Officer role is an exciting role which will enable the delivery of an expanded programme in 2024 and beyond. Your main responsibility will be leading our partner outreach for the continued growth of In2scienceUK. Industry engagement is key for the continued expansion of our new In2careers programme. This programme supports young people on their social mobility journey by removing barriers and creating opportunities.
Your specific duties will include:
Planning and strategy
- Identifying corporate partners
- Helping shape our corporate strategy and offer
- Driving corporate engagement
- Overseeing the development of new partnership marketing content
- Reporting and disseminating project outcomes
- Maintaining and managing our funders database (Salesforce)
Delivery
- Formulate high quality fundraising materials to engage new funders.
- Manage and support current major relationships
- Attend meetings to ensure key stakeholders remain updated and engaged in our work
- Generate relevant content for the In2careers platform
- Represent In2scienceUK at events as appropriate, particularly local business networking groups and events involving local universities, research institutes and science societies.
Communications and teamwork
- Play an active role in the In2scienceUK team, and across the organisation as a whole, upholding In2scienceUK’s values and behaviours and fostering good working relationships and enhanced communications with colleagues.
- Understand and comply with charity law and Fundraising Code of Practice with respect to corporate fundraising.
- Keep abreast of CSR commercials and not for profit news and events including fundraising tools and skills development.
- Track, analyse and report upon performance using agreed performance measures. This will include summary reports on accounts.
- Maintain confidentiality at all times and ensure proper observance of and adherence to all In2scienceUK’s policies and procedures.
- Take responsibility for personal administration and efficient organisation of all activities.
- Other relevant duties as determined by the line manager.

Essential
- Hardworking and enthusiastic
- Experience of income or lead generations
- Ability to build and develop effective relationships with partners at all levels
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to write clear, accurate and appealing text for different audiences including marketing materials
- Be able to write marketing material and press releases
- Highly accurate with a strong attention to detail when handling information

- Ability to work to tight deadlines
- Ability to work with external partners and manage relationships.
