Responsibilities and Person Specification:
This role will form an integral part of our three person Policy and Public Affairs team based in Scotland, working as part of a UK-wide Policy and Influencing team. The role will drive forward our policy projects to reduce poverty in later life, conducting expert research and policy analysis and turning this into persuasive evidence to catch the attention of decision makers and persuaders. The postholder will create opportunities to amplify the voices of older people in poverty and work to secure support for our policy recommendations in Holyrood.
You will have strong research skills with experience of turning quantitative and qualitative data into high quality, persuasive policy outputs. You will have experience developing credible, evidence-based policy solutions, informed by the perspectives and insights of people with lived experience.
You will be a skilled verbal and written communicator with the ability to engage different audiences. You will build strategic relationships with a variety of stakeholders to advance the solutions needed to address poverty in later life, using your knowledge of the political landscape in Scotland and passion for our cause.

We are now looking to recruit a professional and self-motivated IPS Team Leader to lead a small team of IPS Employment Specialists (ES’s) in Ealing and support a small case-load of clients.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
1. Accountable to the IPS Service Lead for managing the delivery team of Employment Specialists and ensure delivery meets and exceeds performance, quality, and contract compliance targets.
2. Lead, develop and supervise the Employment Specialists using the evidence based IPS model, ensuring that the service delivers against budget and employment targets.
3. Provide field mentoring and observations to ensure continuous improvement in key areas of service provision including employer engagement.
4. Ensure that delivery is consistent across all team members, that work is accurate and to deadline and that it continually meets the commissioner’s specification through shadowing, auditing assessments, in work support plans and clinical records.

20. To work with external agencies to maximise use of both internal and external resources in the delivery of vocational support services.
21. To prepare participants for employment through assessing their individual employment needs through vocational profiling and then actively support them to achieve their employment goals in partnership with the clinical team.

The Early Intervention and Prevention Service is a community wellbeing team for children and families.

The post-holder will offer a range of clinical activities to address mental health needs in children and young people, including assessment and direct individual and group work with young and parents/carers.

• Act as a trusted, technical specialist for our business systems, by developing a comprehensive and rigorous knowledge-base of the software architecture, whilst overseeing its maintenance and ensuring the department (and by extension, the organisation) benefits from its full capabilities.

Role Overview
As Family Centre Manager you will play a vital role in the leadership of our church and charity’s community ministry to local children aged 0-11 and their families. Based out of our dedicated family centre, you will be responsible for leading a committed team of staff and volunteers to deliver a holistic programme of support and activities that meets local needs and reflects our Christian values and mission.
You will co-ordinate the day-to-day delivery of the centre’s activities and services, ensuring that delivery is responsive to the views and needs of local parents, carers and children while meeting the contractual requirements of our funders, and ensuring that staff and volunteers are working effectively to support positive outcomes for children and families.
Working with the Fern Street Steering Group, you will also help maintain the centre’s long-term sustainability, this will include maintaining existing partnerships, oversee fundraising efforts and ensuring that adequate resources (people, finances, in-kind) are available to support current and future areas of activity. This will also involve maintaining and developing strong engagement of the congregation and wider staff team of All Hallows Bow church in the ministry of the centre.
You will also take responsibility for overseeing Fern Street Family Centre’s spiritual life and mission - by nurturing a healthy team culture of prayer and mutual support and ensuring that our Christian values and mission are embedded throughout our work.
This is a diverse role that shapes around the passions and skills of the right candidate and offers plenty of opportunities for hands-on involvement with children and families alongside the role’s core leadership and management responsibilities.

About you
You will be a friendly and capable leader with experience of delivering quality programmes of learning, play and/or support for children and families. You will have experience of managing projects and people to achieve key project outcomes on time and to budget.A degree or significant experience in social work, community development, mental health, education, youth work, child development or similar field is desirable.

Are you looking to provide holistic, family-centred, quality care? Are you an RNC or RNA/RNLD with paediatric experience looking to work on a one to one care basis and build your experience in palliative and end of life care? We are recruiting for Senior Paediatric Palliative Care Nurse (Band 6) to help lead and be part of our Care team at our peaceful, woodland hospice.
This is a wonderful opportunity to work in partnership with hospitals and community nursing teams to deliver care to a range of children and young people with a variety of complex health conditions. As well as providing clinical care, you will also develop play and recreational activities to provide appropriate stimulation to the children in your care. We will support you in your learning and development and there is the potential to gain experience in outreach work.
As a Senior Nurse you will be a team leader to a small group of nurses and HCAs (Play and Care Workers), taking responsibility for line management. You will lead your team in acting as key workers to a small caseload of service users and act in a link role allocated to the team, for example Infection Control or Clinical Audits. You will be managing shifts, providing leadership to the team to ensure that all care is delivered in accordance with Richard House policies and procedures.
We’re looking for someone who is empathetic and resilient, can work under pressure, and can communicate sensitively with our families and colleagues. Experience managing junior nurses and leading shifts is essential. It would also be great if you have a mentorship qualification and experience dealing with children with challenging behaviour.
Based in the multi-cultural borough of Newham, we operate a vital 24/7 service. Shifts are 11.5 hours across weekdays and weekends. We require applicants to be available to work weekday shifts as well as weeknights, weekends and bank holidays.

The Assessing Social Worker will be responsible for ensuring the success of TACT's projects and change initiatives. The successful candidate will take a pan-organisation view of all projects and other change activities and seek to ensure that the organisation’s leaders have timely, complete, relevant and accurate information on the status of change activities and early insights into potential issues and opportunities.
Whilst being homebased, the Assessing Social Worker will be required to travel for visits, across the East and West Midlands areas. There is also a requirement to be able to travel to Team meetings, wellbeing days, TACT away days and other in person events across the UK as and when required.
Core Assessing Social Worker Tasks include:
- Preparing applicants for the fostering role
- Promoting and supporting the development of trauma informed foster care / therapeutic parenting
- Assessment of prospective foster families
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of fostering assessments and applicant preparation
The main role requirements for this role include:
- BA or Master’s in Social Work or Dip SW, CSS or CQSW qualification
- Social Work England Registration
- Post qualifying experience including relevant family placement work or post qualifying experience in other child-care settings which must include statutory childcare work
- Experience of assessing foster families and preparing them for the fostering tasks
- A proven track record in working with and on behalf of children and foster families, using a trauma-informed therapeutic approach
- A passion for ensuring children receive the highest quality care from their foster family
- Knowledge of relevant child-care and fostering regulations, legislation, and best practice
