Kinship is seeking to recruit an experienced individual to lead on developing strategic relationships with partners to support the successful delivery of our new national Kinship Carer Training and Support Service, funded by the Department for Education.
This role will suit a proactive and dynamic individual with the ability to plan and deliver a national approach to map organisations and services that are in contact with kinship families, develop effective relationships, and create referral pathways into the Training and Support Service. Working with a range of stakeholders including schools, healthcare providers, national and local charities, and cultural and faith organisations, you will help connect the ecosystem of support for kinship families across England.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, accurate and timely use of our Salesforce CRM, effective collaboration across teams within Kinship and excellent attention to detail will be key to achieving our goals.
What you'll be doing:

Working with the Head of Network Development to plan and execute a new strategic approach to developing partnerships with relevant organisations

Building an up-to-date and accurate picture of the organisations in contact with kinship families

Leading on the development and ongoing management of partnerships across a wide range of organisations including education and health, charities and cultural and faith groups

Establishing connections between partner organisations, the Training and Support team, peer support groups, Kinship’s services, and the wider ecosystem of kinship support

Proactively using our Salesforce CRM database to record, collate, and analyse information to inform delivery and evidence effectiveness of your work

Collaborating effectively with internal colleagues and external partners to collect and share information and to develop and deliver effective plans to reach and engage kinship carers

Collaborating with the marketing team to develop integrated plans or reaching and promoting Kinship to key organisations

Being a credible and knowledgeable face of Kinship, including preparing and delivering high quality presentations, in person and online, to raise awareness about the Training and Support Service and other services and programmes

Promoting available resources including the online information hub, Kinship Compass to kinship carers

Collaborating with partners to attend awareness raising workshops on the Training and Support Service, establish referral pathways, and improve signposting to support

In collaboration with the training team, supporting the development and delivery of high quality and engaging training and support roadshows and events for kinship carers

We are looking for two Hospital Carers' Leads to join our new service supporting unpaid carers while the person they look after is in hospital or is discharged from hospital. We know that this can be a worrying and stressful time and that too often carers do not know where to turn to for information and support. Help us make sure that carers get the help and support they need, at this critical time.
You will play a pivotal role in developing and delivering a brand new offer for carers which seeks to increase the identification of carers within local hospitals, improve carer support during their cared for hospital stay and following their discharge from hospital.
Each Carer Lead will be based at Kings' College Hospital (Denmark Hill) or St Thomas Hospital, and will be responsible for:

Offering tailored short-term 1 to 1 support to unpaid carers, working together to develop and implement plans to help improve carers’ experiences during the hospital stay, prepare for discharge and to address carers’ own needs.

Supporting unpaid carers while the person they care for is in hospital via signposting to relevant support and information about their rights.

Working collaboratively with partners within the hospital, to raise awareness of carers and increase identification.

Our award-winning service supports young carers aged 4-19 to manage their caring relationships while also enjoying their childhoods. Fundraising Manager (Grants and Trusts)
Working closely with the Chief Executive, the Fundraising Manager will help secure and sustain existing and new grant income streams from trusts and foundations, corporate partnerships, statutory bodies, and other local or national funders. The Fundraising Manager will work with others to research and identify prospective new funding opportunities, write and submit grant applications, and build strong relationships with donors. They will have strong confidence in presenting AFRUCA to prospective donors and coordinate and maintain strong working relationships with them.

Role Requirements
• Act as a trusted, technical specialist for our business systems, by developing a comprehensive and rigorous knowledge-base of the software architecture, whilst overseeing its maintenance and ensuring the department (and by extension, the organisation) benefits from its full capabilities.
• Ensure that processes are automated (as far as reasonably practicable) and that business systems are fit for purpose, with technical requirements delivered in a timely manner.
• Ensure that technical and procedural processes are in place to guarantee data quality and integrity, by utilising single sources of truth and streamlining database queries.
• Develop and maintain an in-depth and up-to-date knowledge of both regulatory requirements and daily operational practices, to ensure effective, efficient and compliant business systems.
• Manage and maintain day-to-day management of the business systems and the data held within them, working with the Business System Administrator and the system superusers.
• Act as the primary liaison between business system vendors and The Children’s Trust; regularly liaising to ensure continued development (in order to meet organisational needs) and utilise/attend relevant user groups and forums, to remain up-to-date with system developments.
• Identify, develop and implement any required staff training/coaching, through the delivery of training sessions/workshops and the production of any necessary training manuals/resources, to increase staff’s technical skillset and ensure that they are able to support the required technologies.
• Proactively liaise and communicate with departments across the organisation, to ensure that constructive feedback is received, and information needs are met in a timely manner.
• Develop and review policies and procedures impacted by the implementation of any new system developments.
• Liaise with internal stakeholders and external venders to ensure the requirements of the business system owners are being met
• Raise issues on behalf of business system owners and users and work with external providers to ensure issues are resolved.

What the role involves
Key responsibilities
1. Ensuring that there are regular training opportunities for both new starters and those requiring refresher sessions or updates when new functions or forms are released.
2. Running system training drop-in sessions to assist with queries / hear feedback, and relaying information from these to the Information Governance and IT manager.
3. Working with the Learning and Development Coordinator to establish an evaluation method and implement this to enable us to assess the effectiveness of each training session and using this to improve future delivery.
4. Produce effective training materials and guidance documents, and develop and maintain a training area on our case recording system, including the creation of dummy forms and files for new users to access and use as a training sandbox.
5. Producing and maintaining a catalogue of training resources, ensuring links to practice-based guidance are established and maintained.
6. Performing case recording system changes to forms and lists as directed by the Information Governance and IT Manager
7. Support the Data Reporting and System Support Lead with regards to user administration and user support at times of absence and increased need
8. Supporting with training on additional systems directed by the Information Governance and IT Manager, including on the efficient use of SharePoint and Teams
9. Developing training courses for various systems, using our LMS (currently Rise)
10. Acting at all times in line with safeguarding legislation and guidance in addition to Safer London’s practice guidelines and wider pan-London processes and protocols.
11. Undertaking any other duties as required and commensurate with the level of this post.

The Child and Family Specialist will work in partnership with schools, children and families to assess and respond to the psychological needs of children experiencing social, emotional, mental health or behavioural difficulties through undertaking assessments and providing interventions. The post-holder will also: provide specialist advice and support to school staff in the identification of mental health needs of children and accessing appropriate resources; and actively contribute to outcome monitoring and service improvement.
This is an exciting opportunity to join one of Anna Freud’s thriving Clinical Help offers in the Schools Division. The post-holder will offer a range of clinical activities to address mental health needs in children and young people, including assessment and direct individual and group work with young and parents/carers.
The post-holder will be supported through supervision and will deliver consultation, training, and workshops to non-mental health staff.
Location
Hybrid (a mixture of home/onsite working): staff are working onsite for at least 20% of their working hours, either at Harrow Community sites (Cedars Children’s Centre, 127 Whittlesea Road, Harrow HA3 6ND) and occasionally at Anna Freud, 4-8 Rodney Street, London N1 9JH.
