Job description

An exciting & rewarding opportunity to join Llamau Cardiff young people’s team. Supporting the teams to provide 24 hour staffed project houses & resettlement support (including low level), for young people referred via the Young People’s Gateway. The teams will be supporting young people with a wide range of needs, including mental health & substance use. You will be supporting the teams to support young people in a psychologically & trauma informed way, in line with contract requirements. You will also work closely alongside other agencies supporting the individuals, including Benefits Agencies, landlords, Statutory Services, Education & Training providers, other third sector agencies and community resources.

You will have overarching responsibility for the housing management and support delivery in specific project houses and for resettlement support and open case contact post move-on.

Hours: 35 hours a week. Mainly Monday to Friday 9.30 – 5pm, however flexibility is required to work outside of these hours to support, supervise & work alongside all members of the team. There is a requirement to provide cover for direct support especially during staff absences.

Team Leaders take part in the ‘2nd tier’ On Call rota across Llamau. Providing On Call support and advice for 1st Tier On Call, with issues and emergencies they may need to deal with. This may require providing some shift cover / out of hours project attendance where alternatives are not possible
