Who we are

We are a charity and membership organisation working with over 200 Higher, Further and School education member institutions. We've been leading the discovery, citation and responsible use of audiovisual material in education and research since 1948. As specialists in the use of moving image and sound in education, our unique services range from On Demand TV and radio, training, copyright advice and online scholarly resources. We organise events throughout the year, including academic conferences, our annual Members' Day and our Learning on Screen Awards; which for 16 years has showcased the best educational film and television from broadcasters, professional and upcoming student filmmakers alike.
