At Ambitious about Autism we're currently looking for a Governance Assistant to join our Finance and Planning team.
You'll provide effective and efficient support to the Trustees, Governors and members of Ambitious about Autism and the Ambitious about Autism Schools Trust; administering Board and Committee meetings and producing high quality minutes; facilitating the recruitment and induction of new Trustees and Governors; ensuring compliance with regulatory reporting requirements.
You'll coordinate the development of the overall policy framework and ensuring that policies are in place and are adequate and regularly reviewed at an appropriate level. You'll ensure confidentiality and security of all sensitive information and advising the Director of Finance and Planning and Head of Compliance of any breaches.
We are looking for someone who has:
- Experience in providing executive support to senior posts with multiple internal and external stakeholders, in a relevant setting.
- Experience of supporting a busy senior management team to achieve ambitious targets and goals and to respond to unexpected opportunities and tight deadlines.
- Experience of taking minutes of meetings.
- Experience of observing confidentiality and security/data protection of information and maintaining high levels of discretion whilst party to sensitive information.

As Membership Engagement Coordinator you will
- Lead and deliver on communications plans for renewals, ensuring renewal emails, letters and calls are made to ensure high levels of member retention - monitoring retention rates and cancellation reasons.
- Work with the Membership Manager and Digital Communications Manager on social media campaigns to reach new members.
- Raise awareness of all member benefits to help with member engagement.
- Manage membership networks, and work closely with the events team to build networks at the organisation events.
- Monitor and evaluate membership statistics, assess their effectiveness and suggest improvements if necessary.
- Help deliver a member recruitment strategy with the Membership Manager.
To be successful in the role you will
- Have experience in another member engagement role.
- Have an appetite for problem solving and making improvements and enhancing new ways of working.
- Experienced in developing and implementing membership recruitment and retention plans.
- Have an understanding of digital marketing platforms and systems.

We are currently recruiting for a People and Culture Manager. This is permanent position working 36.5 hours per week.
The role will be mix of home working as well as working from the clients office in Derby 2 days per week. There will also be some travel to Wolverhampton on occasions.
You will be an experienced HR manager who is ideally CIPD Level 5 or 7 qualified.
Paying £33,075 - £41,895 per annum depending on skills and experience.
Role
- To collaborate with the Executive Leadership Team on the strategic people plan.
- Leading and advise the Executive Leadership Team and Senior Leadership Team on employment law, employee relations and up to date employment trends.
- Be responsible for the employee lifecycle in line with employment legislation.
- Manage people & culture teams effectively.
- Supporting line mangers with all HR related queries
- Deliver the organisation's strategic plan.
- Formulating and delivering people plans at an operational level
- Lead the direction on recruitment, to ensure organisational recruitment needs are met.
- Ensuring policies and processes at each area of the employee life cycle are compliant with UK employment legislation, including recruitment, onboarding, probationary, pay and reward.
- Ensure line managers are effectively briefed on any relevant changes to employment law and group policies and procedures.
- Managing the employee relations workload effectively including leading on more complex and challenging employee relations cases.
- Create and deliver training to managers on managing people in line with the group's people polices.
- Leading on the performance management continuous review cycle, ensuring that the pay review process is fit for purpose and competitive.
- Reviewing internal HR policies and leading on continuous improvements and recommendations to maintain compliance.
