About us

Who we are

What we do We support and empower people affected by and living with HIV/AIDS, thosein recovery from Drug and Alcohol issues and the LGBT community. Our services are available to anyone who lives in the Dudley, Sandwell and Birmingham areas; we also provide some services to people living in the wider West Midlands. We have a wide range of people who use our services. All of our work is governed by rigorous confidentiality and equal opportunity policies. History We have been providing support to people living with HIV since 1992. Originally we were known as the Dudley HIV/AIDS Support (DHASG). For many years we were based in Stourbridge growing from a part-time service consisting of one person and one desk through to our offices at the top of the multi-storey car park it was this that inspired the name Summit House. The organisation changed its name in November 2005 and became a Charitable Company Limited by Guarantee. We also moved to our current location in Martin Hill Street, Dudley. Our work expanded into the areas of Recovery in 2010. Today we operate in the areas of Well-Being, Recovery and LGBTQ.
