Bladder Health UK

Who we are

Bladder Health UK is a small national charity that supports both patients and Healthcare Professionals. The charity is 30 years old in 2024 and is recognised as an experienced and trusted organisation. The team consists of a Business Director, a Comms and Media Manager, a Finance and Admin Manager and 3 Specialist Nurses - all of whom work part-time. Resources provided by the charity inculde an Advice Line, a Magazine, Handbooks on Bladder Conditions, Diet Books, an informative website, webinars, study days for patients and HCP's and an annual conference for HCP's. In addition BHUK is pro-active on socila media using X, Facebook,  Instagram and LinkedIn to reach out to people in need. Funding comes from membership subscriptions, fundraising and corporate sponsorship and the charity has an annual turnover of £100-£120k.

The team is passionate about improving the quality of life for those who suffer from debilitating bladder conditions and in addition tot the above has developed vey good relationships with NICE, the NHS, Urologists and Academics.
