Who we are
The Centre for Ageing Better is a charity, funded by an endowment from The National Lottery Community Fund, working to create a society where everyone enjoys a good later life.
At the Centre for Ageing Better we are focused on bringing about lasting changes in society that make a difference to people’s experience of later life, now and in the future. This means more people in fulfilling work, in good health, living in safe, accessible homes and connected communities. We must act now to secure a better future for everyone.
We have four priorities:

- Healthy ageing
- Connected communities
Working in partnership with a range of organisations, we bring about lasting changes in society, particularly for those approaching later life and at risk of missing out.
We are funded by an endowment from The National Lottery Community Fund. As part of the What Works Network of organisations, everything we do is rooted in evidence.
