Who we are
Baca supports young people who have been forced to flee their home country, because of war, persecution, or trafficking. We provide the support they need including a safe home, education and therapeutic care.
The young people we serve have lost the only life they know and have overcome all the odds to reach safety. Their courage is inspiring but without support they are at extreme risk of harm and exploitation. Baca is committed to providing an inspiring environment that raises hope and strengthens resilience – enabling them to fulfil their potential and become thriving members of the community.

Our culture and values
We are committed to living out our values in our actions, which means we always treat everyone with respect; we live out unexaggerated truth. We passionately embrace risk for the sake of the mission, believing in multiple chances, taking responsibility and seeking the best for those we serve, whilst also applying wisdom to find our way through challenges.
Our young people often describe Baca as family. We are committed to creating an environment that inspires hope and raises aspirations; supporting them through challenging times and celebrating everyone for who they are. We work in the thin space between the formal world of statutory obligations and the informal world of being ‘a faithful parent’.
