This online course is designed for professionals working in listening and supportive roles; in teams for vulnerable clients, specialist and general customer service teams.
Being able to listen effectively is a key part of relational counselling — in this course you'll learn how to use listening skills to better support your clients.
How much time will it take to complete the course?
The course is completed in three to four weeks, you'll spend 3 to 4 hours a week working through the units. This includes time to practice what you have learnt.
Do I need any previous experience of counselling?
No, it's suitable for people with no prior training. If you've had previous training in offering support and help you'll find the course adds to your expertise by showing you how to use basic counselling skills.
The course is designed to complement your existing knowledge and to help you to feel more confident when supporting your clients.
