Course on Mainstreaming Gender into Project Cycle Management

Overview

This one month course will equip the participants with the basic concepts of gender, knowledge of and practical skills to gender mainstreaming in Project cycle Management so that they can ensure that gender is incorporated throughout the project cycle stage from formulation to monitoring and evaluation. The course will also introduce participants to gender based analysis frameworks and the participant will leave with a personal action plan for mainstreaming gender in his/her programmes and organisation. What you will learn

By the end of the course, the participants should be able to understand why gender is critical for the project cycle management, how to use the tools, and have basic skills in monitoring and assessing impact of projects on women, men, boys, and girls.

What you require

The course is delivered entirely online. The total time commitment is a minimum of 2 - 5 hours per week and a total of 84 contact hours to complete the entire course. The course is designed to be highly interactive and social, but we also work hard to ensure that the majority of content can be experienced in a self-paced manner.
