The environments in which humanitarians and missionary workers serve are increasingly challenging and put pressure on staff, leading to burnout and depression. In support of World Health Day and its spotlight on depression, InterHealth Worldwide will be hosting a free webinar that serves as a platform for open conversation on the issue.
Speakers in the webinar will discuss concerns around depression and how to recognise and respond to it from an individual and organisational perspective. These speakers are highly experienced in promoting and supporting the health and well-being of humanitarian workers and missionaries. You can find their bios on the events page here: https://www.interhealthworldwide.org/home/health-resources/health-alerts/2017/march/20/webinar-depression-in-humanitarian-and-missionary-work/
Please send any questions or topics you would like to see covered during the webinar to [email protected] and join the conversation using #IHDWebinar on Facebook and Twitter.
