This 2-day course will enable participants to identify the key requirements for managing security in complex emergencies by analysing essential techniques in risk management, security assessment, and crisis response. It covers the following topics:

• Operating landscape
• Security management frameworks
• Environmental scanning
• Security risk management
• Staff management and security
• Incident management
• Implementing security plans

This course is aimed at security managers, field programme managers, or staff with responsibility for security or risk management.
