Overview

Our latest Skilled Grantseeker Programme starts in April 2017.  This series of four courses will equip you with a unique toolkit for successful grantseeking.  It is ideal for people who are new to trust fundraising, or those with a thirst for extending their repertoire of skills.

The programme will run from April to July at a venue in central London.

Our philosophy is that trust fundraising is far more complex than being a ‘research, write, report’ process.  Our approach has been adopted by 100s of participants, from organisations such as Cancer Research UK, the National Trust, through to the African Women’s Development Fund. The courses will be run by Bill Bruty, a Fellow of the Institute of Fundraising, who has over twenty six years experience in grantseeking, securing funds from grantmakers all over the world, for every cause imaginable.

What we cover:

· 18th April: Understanding Charitable Trusts and Mastering Research Tools - How to research trusts – juggling zoopla, ancestry.com, as well as the traditional tools.

· 17th May: Project Planning and Proposal Writing - How to write successful proposals – mastering complex application forms and succinct concept notes.

· 26th June: Networking and Negotiating Skills - Managing negotiations – persuasion over the phone, networking and face to face meetings.

· 18th July: Target Setting and Tracking – the science of balancing reality with ambition.
