Overview

Delivering effective training with confidence is key to ensuring aid workers are equipped with the essential skills needed to deliver successful aid programmes. Do you have the right skills to ensure they are receiving the most effective training possible? **

This 3 -day course is for anyone who will be providing the vital training needed to best prepare aid workers and build organisational capacity. Through highly participatory activities you will enhance existing skills and develop new capabilities through experience, observation and feedback. You will learn and be empowered by others from across the sector, in an environment of shared learning and support. This course develops the skills and confidence needed to deliver training within the humanitarian sector.

What does the course cover?

By the end of the course, participants will be able to:

  • Apply the principles of adult learning to designing and running a training course or session
  • Write aims and objectives for training sessions and courses
  • Demonstrate a range of participatory training skills and techniques
  • Select appropriate activities, materials and resources for training people in topics relating to relief work
