About the role
We are seeking two passionate Senior Event Executive to drive the ongoing development of our event products. Your focus will be on continuous improvement, bringing compelling, supporter-focused products and propositions to life.
You will play a crucial role in managing major fundraising events with high participant volumes across our event portfolio.
These roles offer the chance to support the development and delivery of some of the largest and most enduring fundraising products in the charity sector. You will lead our sector-leading flagship events: one role will focus on the iconic London to Brighton Bike Ride, and the other on the London to Brighton Off Road and Bournemouth Pier to Pier Swim.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support end-to-end delivery of mass participation events and standout supporter experiences, meeting financial and engagement targets.
- Drive continuous improvement to ensure products are compelling and supporter led.Collaborate across teams to plan, deliver, and manage all event activities.
- Design and deliver innovative stewardship journeys that maximise supporter satisfaction and ROI.
- Track financials and KPIs, ensuring accurate CRM data integration.
- Partner with creative, digital, and customer service teams to boost engagement and event growth.
- Possibly line manage a Product Executive, fostering development and team success.
About you
As our ideal candidate, you bring relevant experience managing income generation products from start to finish, specifically within the context of product marketing, fundraising campaigns and/or fundraising events.
You are enthusiastic, proactive, and commercially aware, with a proven track record in delivering multi-channel customer journeys, managing, and executing projects, and presenting to both internal and external stakeholders.
With a solid understanding of marketing and/or fundraising (including insight, customer journeys and marketing communications), you are knowledgeable about content management systems and customer databases.
Your excellent communication, organisational, and analytical skills are complemented by your experience in budget management and your understanding of line management principles and practices.
Working arrangements
We currently have two opportunities available: one permanent contract and one fixed-term contract to cover a secondment until 5 May 2026.
This is a hybrid role, where your work will be split between your home and at least one day per week, on average, in our London Office. This may vary from time to time, so you will need to work in a flexible way to unlock your best work for our cause.
There will be a requirement for flexible out of hours working to support occasional evening and weekend activity. You will be compensated for this with time off in lieu.

Interview process

The Onboarding team welcomes newly hired employees and delivers a seamless onboarding journey. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting our Onboarding Coordinators to manage the end-to-end process, ensuring every new starter has a great experience and a smooth transition into their role.
You will assist with the day-to-day coordination of onboarding for all new BHF employees. This includes managing candidate details, references, DBS checks (where required), and right to work checks. You will track the progress of new starters, chase outstanding documentation, and ensure proposed start dates are met.
You will also handle onboarding queries and escalate any issues relating to offers or screening processes. Alongside essential daily tasks that keep the onboarding process running smoothly, you’ll act as first point of contact. You will check, challenge, and escalate where necessary, providing valuable opportunities to learn, grow, and develop expertise in recruitment and onboarding.
Working closely with the team, you’ll take ownership of your tasks and use initiative to keep time-sensitive actions on track, ensuring KPIs and SLAs are consistently achieved.
About You
You will have previous experience providing administrative support to a team, ideally within Recruitment or HR, and working in a fast-paced environment. You can deliver at pace, prioritise effectively and manage high volumes of documentation and data with accuracy and efficiency.
Ideally, you will have experience using a Recruitment Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and feel confident navigating systems to keep processes moving. A strong communicator, you will build excellent working relationships with internal teams and external partners, such as our Technology team and DBS checking provider.
With exceptional attention to detail and strong time management skills, you will deliver an outstanding onboarding experience that meets, and wherever possible exceeds, the expectations of candidates and hiring managers.

As our Senior Videographer, you’ll be a key part of our Health Content team, helping us significantly expand how we reach people with video content through our own channels, social platforms and on YouTube.
British Heart Foundation (BHF)’s Health Content team supports people with heart and circulatory diseases, helping them feel informed and empowered. We produce a wide range of health information products across print and digital channels.

Thinking conceptually to interrogate briefs and get beneath the surface of projects and audience needs, you’ll balance creativity with pragmatism to deliver amazing video content that makes our audiences sit up and take notice.
You’ll develop video content that will work across digital, social, video and in-store, collaborating closely with our talented team and working with colleagues around the charity on a variety of projects.
About you
You bring extensive hands-on videography and video editing experience and expertise (in-house or agency) and experience of project managing the entire production cycle; from pre-production (incl. storyboarding), filming, editing, to final delivery.
A keen collaborator, with good interpersonal and problem-solving skills, you have excellent time management and the ability to work independently and within a team environment.
Proficient with professional camera equipment, lighting setups, audio capture, and basic colour grading, you have experience of creating video content for a range of channels, including websites, YouTube and social channels such as Instagram Reels and TikTok.
With advanced skills in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Adobe Creative Cloud Suite, you have experience of working within a range of production budgets and an understanding of accessibility issues and standards.
You can tell a story quickly, and you understand how that story should be adapted to different channels.

We’re recruiting for a new Policy and Public Affairs Manager to join our team in Scotland. This opportunity offers autonomy and responsibility and the chance to play a pivotal part in advancing British Heart Foundation’s (BHF) mission in Scotland.
About the role
As our Policy and Public Affairs lead in Scotland you’ll be responsible for the strategic development, direction and delivery of BHF's influencing activities in Scotland, and the management of the policy and public affairs team in Scotland.
As part of the devolved nations policy and public affairs team, you'll be involved in devising and implementing Scotland specific policy actions ensuring that BHF Scotland influences developments in health policy, within the BHF policy framework.
Leading our influencing in the Scottish Parliament and with Scottish Government, you’ll drive forward our agenda in line with BHF strategy and ensure BHF Scotland’s voice is heard on key issues relating to heart and circulatory disease.
With the impending Scottish Parliament election and a new cohort of MSPs to influence, this role will be instrumental in ensuring that cardiovascular disease and its risk factors are high on the political agenda.
Working arrangements
This is a hybrid role, where your work will be split between your home and at least one day per week, on average, in our Edinburgh Office. This may vary from time to time, so you will need to work in a flexible way to unlock your best work for our cause.
The work will require some evening and weekend work, as well as travel that may require overnight stays. There will be opportunity to visit our BHF offices in Belfast, Cardiff and London on occasion.

We're looking for a strategic thinker with a passion for influencing positive change in Scotland’s health landscape. With an excellent understanding of the political environment in Scotland you’ll have knowledge of the workings and processes of devolved government and understand how to use them to best effect.
With a track record that demonstrates your ability to build and nurture relationships with senior stakeholders, including Ministers, MSPs, and civil servants, and to exert influence at the highest levels, you'll be adept at developing evidence-based policy and leading advocacy campaigns.
You'll have excellent communication skills, able to distil complex issues into clear, compelling messages. You'll also be skilled at prioritising competing demands and resilient under pressure.
Collaboration at your core, you'll excel at working across teams and sectors to achieve shared goals, and will bring creativity, analytical rigour, and a commitment to BHF’s mission, ready to drive change for people affected by heart and circulatory diseases in Scotland.
