This role involves:

Successful applicants will be able to demonstrate:

Progression Coaches will manage their own case load and take swift action to re-engage young people who are NEET, offering tailored packages of support to mitigate the risk of long-term disengagement in order to meet contractual targets.This role will undertake individual diagnostic work and the provision of information, advice and support using knowledge of the education system, local labour market and barriers to employment faced by young people.
Successful candidates will have experience of working with young people, either on a one-to-one basis or with groups. The ability to engage, empathise, motivate, and inspire young people is essential along with the ability of establishing and maintaining effective working partnerships.This role requires strong organisation and time management skills along with good attention to detail.

Working in partnership with Cumbria Careers Hub, schools, colleges and employers, The Link will support the delivery of Cumbria Local Enterprise Partnership‘s Local Industrial Strategy and Careers Strategy.
We are recruiting a full time Local Employment Engagement Coordinator to coordinate relevant activities associated with The Link.

You will be a true brand champion.

You will also have a passion for telling stories and creating engagement and be great at collaborating with others.
