About us
Who we are
5Rights Foundation believes that children and young people have the right to access a digital environment that offers them the freedom to explore and engage creatively, knowledgably and fearlessly. Our mission is to ensure that the online environment is one that anticipates their presence and is designed to allow them to flourish.
5Rights develops policy to transform the digital experience of those under the age of 18 to ensure that their rights and needs are factored into the digital world by design and default. Uniquely, we address the full gamut of issues facing under 18s online. We do not limit our scope to online safety, but tackle questions of democracy, bias, freedom of speech, polarised public discourse, commercial drivers, and automated and intelligent systems (A/IS).
Details of our current and previous work can be found on our website.
