Who we are

Activists Without Borders is a UK-based advocacy and campaigns group dedicated to protecting human and environmental rights, empowering frontline activists, and addressing injustices worldwide.

We investigate and document human rights and environmental abuses, publish reports, and share our findings with policymakers, international institutions, and the public. Through research, advocacy, and digital campaigns, we raise awareness and press for accountability where it matters most.

We are a global network of passionate individuals, united by a common purpose: to create a world where activism knows no boundaries. Our team include country experts, lawyers, journalists, researchers, filmmakers and campaigners. Together, we partner with organisations worldwide to protect activists at risk, challenge injustice, and support victims in their pursuit of justice.

WHAT WE DO

Research – We gather reliable evidence from the ground, investigate injustices, and publish reports that shed light on human and environmental rights violations.

Campaign – We raise public awareness, collaborate with global watchdogs, and advocate at the United Nations and other international institutions to push for meaningful change.

Educate – Through the Activists Without Borders Academy and online courses, we provide workshops, training, and seminars that equip individuals and communities with the knowledge and skills to advocate effectively.

Expose – Through creative platforms such as the Activists Without Borders Film Festival, we celebrate films that inspire change and highlight untold stories. We also produce our own films and provide training in visual advocacy to amplify voices that are too often unheard.
