About us
Who we are
AkiOke Music Club is a grassroots charity based in Bromley, run by a small team of passionate people. Our mission is to create joyful, inclusive spaces where adults with a heap of abilities and talents can come together through music.
We run weekly karaoke and music sessions that encourage friendship, self-expression, and confidence-building. Using singing, rhythm, and group activities, we help people connect, share their love of music, and feel part of a welcoming community.
By volunteering with us, you’ll be joining a supportive team that believes in the power of music to change lives.

Inclusion – celebrating every person’s unique abilities and talents.
Friendship – creating spaces where people feel welcome, supported, and connected.
-
Joy through Music – using singing and rhythm to lift spirits and bring people together.
-
Respect & Safety – ensuring our sessions are safe, encouraging, and non-judgmental.
-
Collaboration – working as a team, valuing each contribution, and co-creating with our members
