Who we are

Animal Assisted Wellness CIC is a community-focused organisation delivering structured 1-1, animal-assisted wellbeing sessions across nurseries, schools, care homes and community settings.

We specialise in providing calm, therapeutic interactions with trained animals to support emotional wellbeing, reduce anxiety and encourage positive social engagement. Our sessions are designed to create safe, nurturing environments where individuals can build confidence, regulate emotions and experience meaningful connection.

Our work is particularly impactful for:

• Children and young people, including those with additional needs
• Individuals experiencing anxiety or emotional challenges
• Elderly residents in care settings experiencing loneliness or isolation

We are a growing organisation with a clear mission to expand access to animal-assisted wellbeing services across London and beyond. Alongside our community work, we collaborate with our partner brand, Patacake Paws, to deliver workshops, events and wider engagement opportunities.

As we scale, we are building a team of passionate volunteers who want to gain hands-on experience while contributing to a meaningful cause. Volunteers play a key role in helping us reach more communities, secure funding and grow our impact.
