Who we are

Animal Free Research UK is the leading charity working to create a world where human diseases are cured faster without animal suffering.  By pioneering excellence, inspiring and supporting scientists and influencing change, we are ending the use of animals and improving medical research.

We award grants to scientists that enable them to carry out pioneering animal free research that helps find breakthroughs for human diseases.  We support young researchers to develop their careers without using animals.  And we promote the latest animal free techniques so that the science community is aware of the cutting edge methods replacing animals.
