Who we are
Basingstoke Consortium is an ambitious well-established educational charity which was set up in 1986. The charity works annually with over 700 businesses and thousands of young people aged 5-25 years on employability projects which are designed to help bridge the gap between the skills needed by businesses and those that young people have when they enter the world of work. Whilst based in Basingstoke it operates in North Hampshire providing a wide range of practical opportunities including work experience, mentoring, business tasters, financial capability, employability and enterprise sessions. The charity is matrix standard accredited, and has a team of qualified careers advisers who work alongside its wider team, all of whom work in schools, colleges and the community.
