About us
Who we are
The Berkshire MS Therapy Centre supports the health and wellbeing of local people with Multiple Sclerosis (MS) by providing vital therapies designed to manage symptoms that are not available elsewhere. Treatments include physiotherapy, oxygen treatment, footcare, counselling, and a range of complementary therapies at our specialist Centre in Reading. As well as therapies, people with MS can meet and support one another, which helps reduce loneliness and isolation.
The pandemic led us to develop very popular virtual support including "live" online exercise classes and mindfulness sessions. We have also recently developed video recordings of exercise sessions, which can be accessed online at any time.
With no NHS funding, we need to raise £700,000 each year to support our members. The support we provide will improve our members' physical health and emotional wellbeing – not just now but the rest of their lives.
