Who we are

Grove Cottage provides social and educational activities for people of all ages with learning disability: to develop their potential, avoid social isolation by supporting lifelong friendships and to provide respite for their families. We run the following clubs giving support and help from 3 months to 70+ years. • Nursery / Pre School • Youth Club • Adult Clubs • Saturday Clubs • Holiday Clubs • Speech and Language Therapy Grove Cottage was set up in 1964 by a group of parents to provide lifelong support for their children, to offer a safe environment to engage in a variety of activities to maximise each individuals potential. We are now a thriving charity with about 20 part-time staff, 20 regular volunteers and we work with approximately 50 occasional volunteers in the course of the year.
