Camden Federation of Private Tenants

Who we are

Camden Federation of Private Tenants (CFPT) has been in existence since 1980, and is thought to be the oldest such organisation of its type in the country. 

• We are an independent local organisation run by and for private renters, who now make up around 36% of the borough's households.
• We also work with the borough's housing association residents through our Camden Housing Association Residents Group (CHARG).
• We constantly work to develop and run new and innovative projects that will benefit the groups of people that we work with. 

Our culture and values

We believe that our staff are at the heart of everything that we do, and this is why we create new and innovative projects that are not only of great benefit to the groups of people that we serve, but also interesting, challenging and (hopefully) very rewarding to those that set them up and run them.
