Who we are
Cheltenham Animal Shelter aims to provide shelter for homeless dogs, cats and other domestic animals whilst attempting to locate appropriate new homes for them. The objective is to provide professional care and good animal husbandry to rescued animals during the process of re-homing them to good suitable caring homes as soon as possible. Trustees also recognise their duty of care to staff employed and to the volunteers who provide invaluable and additional assistance with all aspects of the business. The Charity also seeks to encourage good practice in the care of animals in the community through education of the public in the basics of animal welfare.
