About us
Who we are
Christian Education Movement (CEM) is the umbrella organisation for RE Today Services, IBRA, BJRE, and NATRE, all of which support Religious Education globally and in the UK.
- RE Today Services provides national and international support for RE in schools through teaching resources, training, consultancy, and publications. It aims to grow subscriptions and lead the sector through innovation.
- NATRE is the UK subject association for RE teachers, supported by RE Today for admin, sales, and marketing. It aims to be the most relevant and innovative support network for RE educators, offering memberships, resources, training, and projects like Spirited Arts and Primary RE 1000.
- IBRA promotes daily Bible reading and understanding worldwide by publishing reading schemes and funding projects in developing countries. It also seeks to preserve and share its historical legacy since 1882.
- BJRE is a leading peer-reviewed academic journal on religion and education, promoting global research and scholarship in RE and related fields.

Equality, diversity and inclusion policy
We are committed to promoting equality, diversity and inclusion across all areas of our work. We strive to ensure that every employee and volunteer feels respected, valued, and empowered to contribute fully. Our approach is rooted in fairness, dignity, and the belief that a diverse workforce strengthens our organisation. We do not tolerate discrimination of any kind and work proactively to create an environment free from harassment and victimisation. Recruitment, training, and development opportunities are open to all, and decisions are always based on merit. We also provide ongoing support and training to embed inclusive practice at every level.
