Community Opportunity

Who we are

We are a Southwark based charity looking to increase employment for those needing to work from home, particularly people who need to shield due to coronavirus and their families. We are led by people with disabilities and carers, so we know what works to get more people like us into employment. 

We have been a partner in the Made in Bermondsey £2m regeneration programme funded by the Mayor of London, in partnership with Southwark Council, Blue Bermondsey Business Improvement District and Big Local Works. The lead architects are Hayatsu and Assemble, who developed the Made in Bermondsey concept. As part of the programme we helped create ongoing legacy projects which celebrate the Made in Bermondsey theme and continue to benefit the community for the long term, including the Bermondsey Atelier makerspace.
