Who we are
Comprehensive Future is the UK’s only national campaign dedicated to ending the 11-plus test and academic selection. We believe every child deserves a fair start in life, and that means access to inclusive, all-ability schools. Our work focuses on promoting fair admissions so that schools truly reflect their local communities. We’re a small but passionate organisation, powered by volunteers, parents, teachers and campaigners who share a vision of a fairer education system.
Our activities range from carrying out original research to highlight the impact of selection, to lobbying policymakers and sharing practical advice with parents. We also build alliances with teachers, education leaders and grassroots campaigners who believe, like we do, that fairness should be at the heart of education.
