Our culture and values
We believe people with learning disabilities have the right to equality, choice, and full inclusion in their communities.
We're person-centered - putting individuals at the heart of everything we do. We amplify voices rather than speaking for people, creating platforms for genuine self-advocacy and participation.
We're solution-focused and creative, breaking down barriers through collaboration. We connect people - families, services, and organizations - working together with mutual respect and kindness.
We embrace innovation while staying accountable to those we support. Our board is passionate yet down-to-earth, with a professional but friendly culture where honest discussion, constructive challenge, and diverse strengths are valued.
Compassion, respect, and making a real difference drive everything we do.
Equality, diversity and inclusion policy
CC4LD is committed to equality, diversity, and inclusion across our workforce and board. We actively oppose discrimination and welcome applications from all backgrounds, particularly those with lived experience of learning disability.
We create inclusive environments where everyone feels valued and can contribute fully, providing reasonable adjustments where needed. Our commitment to EDI extends beyond internal practices to our core mission of breaking down barriers in society.
All trustees are expected to champion these values in their governance role.
