Who we are

Devas Club is a long-established youth charity and community centre at the heart of Battersea, supporting children and young people and creating opportunities for them to learn, grow and thrive.

Founded in 1884, Devas has been supporting generations of young people for more than 140 years. Today, we provide a safe, welcoming and inclusive environment where children and young people can make friends, develop new skills, build confidence and access positive opportunities and trusted support.

Our youth provision includes Juniors and Seniors youth clubs, holiday programmes and a varied programme of activities, including sport, dance, creative activities, music, games and personal development opportunities. Through our work, we aim to support young people's wellbeing, encourage their ambitions and ensure they have a place where they feel safe, valued and listened to.

Devas is based in our purpose-built community centre in Battersea, in the London Borough of Wandsworth. Our extensive facilities include social and activity spaces, a dance studio, music and recording facilities, a large sports and performance hall, gym, art and creative spaces, a professionally equipped kitchen and an enclosed rooftop sports pitch.

Our building is also an important community hub, providing space for local organisations, partners and community groups and enabling us to extend the opportunities and services available to our local community.

While Devas has a proud history, we are firmly focused on the future — continuing to develop our services, partnerships and opportunities so that the next generation of young people can build confidence, skills and brighter futures.
