About us

Who we are

Who are Eastleigh youth and Community Trust and what do we do?

Based at our community hub at the Pavilion on the Park, in Eastleigh, our charity energises, and enriches the wellbeing of people in the local community. We believe in building bridges across generations through educational, social, recreational and leisure activities that are available to all.

Our activities include a sensory room, adapted cycling project, boccia club, table-tennis and badminton clubs, lunch clubs, singing and music groups, health and wellbeing activities, a toddler group, and a community cafe. Our evidence-based research shows us that through activities and engagement at The Pavilion on the Park, participants gain confidence, increase their fitness levels, and develop relationships – all of which benefit their mental health and wellbeing.

We are a registered charity and rely heavily on the generous support of individuals, companies, trusts and foundations in order to continue our valuable work

Our Mission

Our mission is to energise and enrich the wellbeing of children, young people, those with disabilities, older people, and families. Our ambition is to be an inclusive centre of excellence and work with our local community to facilitate engagement that has a positive impact on the lives of everyone in our community. We will achieve this by being inclusive, professional, holistic, and above all impactful in everything we do.

Our Values

Our values underpin everything we do and say and we are committed to;

  • Inclusivity

We are inclusive, respecting each other’s differences and diversity. Being inclusive is at the heart of all we do, advocating for equality and participation

  • Professionalism

We adopt a professional approach in all we do. We stand out from the crowd with high standards of service, communication and engagement

We aim to make a difference in a positive and meaningful way. We help make our community a better place to live in and grow

  • Taking a holistic approach

We strive to work towards improving the health and wellbeing of our entire community. Our holistic approach focuses on wellness that provides support for the whole person

Our People

Our small team of dedicated and committed staff and volunteers are our most valuable and valued asset. They are all critical to the delivery of our projects and activities, helping the charity to succeed  through their hard work, creativity, personality and passion for helping others. Whilst it can be challenging working in such a diverse and fast-paced customer service environment, the variety, flexibility and camaraderie within the team working at the Pavilion on the Park makes it a very interesting and rewarding place to work.
